          TIMELINE

          • Freshmen & Sophomores

            Beginning in the ninth grade, a series of class meetings for students and evening sessions for parents is offered to inform families about the college application process.

            The College Counseling Office is open to underclassmen on an as-needed basis. Common questions concern standardized testing, summer programs and course scheduling. College Counselors do their best to be available to all students, prioritizing students in the senior and junior classes.
          • Juniors

            The College Deans Symposium starts the process for juniors giving students and their parents in-depth insights into the admission process.

            Individualized college counseling begins in the junior year. It’s an 18-month process that includes frequent meetings between counselors, students and parents.
          • Seniors

            A College Tour each year in June gives rising seniors a chance to visit a range of colleges and universities with their college counselors.

            Each fall, RE welcomes more than 100 admissions officers to campus, allowing students to learn about colleges in an intimate setting.
